What a sight to see a Quasar CR 2.0 raised to the sky in victory! It happened at the 2025 Škoda Titan Desert, where our Pili Fernandez emerged as the undisputed star of the grueling stage race through the Moroccan desert—one of the toughest mountain bike events in the world. Riding her trusted Repente Quasar CR 2.0, the Madrid-born rider dominated the competition, claiming four stage wins and the overall title.
The 2025 Titan Desert pushed riders to their limits: six days of racing across desert, dunes, and mountains, covering 550 kilometers and over 4,000 meters of elevation gain. Under a relentless sun and through a nomadic base camp setup, every stage tested the participants both physically and mentally.
From day one, Fernandez set the pace and imposed her rhythm and technique, forcing her rivals to chase. British rider Annabel Fisher fought hard and finished second overall. In the final stage, Fernandez showed exceptional sportsmanship by waiting for Fisher after a crash and letting her take the stage win. A noble gesture that speaks volumes about the character and athleticism of the Spanish champion.
“I dedicate this victory to my family, who have always stood by me, and to the KH7 team,” said Pili at the finish line. “I felt supported by everyone. This year I arrived more experienced and better prepared. I only had one tough day, but I knew I could give it everything. I will definitely be back to race this amazing event.”
Once again, the Škoda Titan Desert proved to be the ultimate test for the Quasar CR 2.0, a saddle weighing just 129 grams that withstood the harshest terrains while delivering comfort and performance—even after many hours in the saddle.
Adding to the excitement of this 20th edition was the standout performance of Andrey Amador. The former WorldTour rider from Costa Rica, one of the most anticipated debutants in recent years, took the lead on day three and never looked back. With raw power and consistency, he rode to an emphatic overall win—celebrated at the finish line alongside Pili Fernandez.
