Vuelta a España 2020 here we come!

|

Good news for Repente. For the second consecutive year we will be present at the Vuelta a España together with Caja Rural – Seguros Rga, the Spanish team of which we are an official partner.

«Taking part in a Grand Tour represents a great opportunity to make our brand known to a very huge public – says Massimo Farronato, CEO of Selle Repente -. Last year the riders of the Caja Rural performed very well, collecting three second places, I am sure that we will see them attacking and do their best to get a well-deserved stage victory“.

«The collaborations with professional male and female teams are a very important resource to us – says Farronato -, they allow us to improve our products and offer our customers ultra-light saddles with the level of comfort and reliability that they want».

The De Rosa bicycles of Caja Rural – Rga are equipped with many models of Repente carbon: Aleena, Comptus, Prime, Spyd, Latus M, Latus CL and, for the time trial stages, Magnet.

Gonzalo Serrano, winner of a stage at Vuelta a Andalucìa 2020

La Vuelta 2020 will be the ninth in a row for Caja Rural – Rga. It will start on October 20th with an attractive stage between Irún and Arrate and will end, as most editions do, in Madrid on November 8th. Meanwhile, six flat stages, six mid-mountain, five mountain and an individual time trial, with special stages for Caja Rural-Seguros RGA such as the departure from Pamplona or the days of the first week.

Juan Manuel Hernández, manager of the team: «Last year we were very close to a stage victory with three second places. This 2020 we had started the season in good shape, with a great win for Gonzalo Serrano in Vuelta a Andalucía, but we all had to adjust to this new situation. Our cyclists continue working with the focus on the return to the competition, and especially on October 20th in Irún. Our goal is clear: to achieve a stage victory. The level will undoubtedly be very high, we will work hard and I know we have the level to get it. Being in La Vuelta 2020 is the best news we could receive, now we can face the future with even more enthusiasm».
