In Vallnord (Andorra) Vlad Dascalu confirmed his leadership in the U23 World Cup. After winning the race of Nove Mesto, the biker of Brujula Bike Racing Team, a Spanish team sponsored by Selle Repente, played a splendid solo in a challenging route at 1,900 meters above sea level, confirming his extraordinary shape.
The Romanian champion, who comes from a period of training in Sierra Nevada, controlled the race at all times. He overtook the Swiss Filippo Colombo and on the last lap he continued to gain ground and then got rid of the Spaniard Jofre Cullel, to reach the finish line alone.
Vald Dascalu uses the Prime saddle, made of carbon and tepex and with a central anatomical cutout, produced by the Italian brand Selle Repente.
After this victory he sees his big goals closer at hand: winning the U23 World Cup and trying to wear the world champion jersey in Canada.
