34 years old, born and raised in Yorkshire, based near Geneva, Switzerland, Annabel started racing at Cambridge University and is currently a professional cyclist

Annabel Fisher (Café du Cycliste) won the elite divisions at the Gravel Earth Series final race in Cardona, Spain.

The British cyclist dominated the women’s field with a solo victory, 13’59’’ faster than Svenja Betz of Germany and 21’40’’ ahead of Geertje Schreurs from the Netherlands.

The symbolic image of her victory is that of Annabel on the finish line lifting her bike, equipped with a Repente Quasar CR 2.0 saddle. An amazing success, which allows her to add the victory in the general classification to those already obtained in the Traka, Rift Iceland, Octopus, Migration among the others.

Gravel Earth Series is the cycling circuit that brings together six of the most important gravel events on Earth, with different formats. The challenges are rated according to the difficulty, mileage and positive gain, and the level and prestige of the event.

The race that decided the overall classification of the Gravel Earth Series covered 180 kilometres with 3,150 metres of elevation gain over three different sections. The race victory pushed Annabel from fourth to the first place in the overall of the contest.

The great goal now is the Gravel World Championship that will be held in Veneto on October 7th.
